TourTurf® Organic Growth is an organic-mineral NPK fertiliser with 6% organic nitrogen, 7% urea, 2% ammonium and 1% nitrate. The product also contains Bacillus spp., Bacillus polymyxa, and Pseudomonas sp., as well as humic substances, magnesium, iron, and seaweed extracts.

Use it as an optimum fertiliser during the summer months when an even growth with strongly rooted plants is required.

The seaweed extract in TourTurf® Organic Balanced includes natural plant hormones that stimulate the formation of strong roots and produces a healthier green turf.The beneficial microorganisms help release nutrients into the soil and to counteract and compete with harmful pathogens in the soil.The use of the product will result in short-term fertilisation and immediate soil quality enhancement, which will eventually increase the resilience of the soil and plants to environmental stress and the wear and tear of the playing surface.

TourTurf® Organic Growth contains more than 40% organic material and is rich in carbon. The product is made of meat bone meal, urea, blood meal, feather meal, potassium nitrate, iron sulphate, ammonium sulphate, vinasse extract, potassium chloride, magnesium oxide and seaweed meal.

Seaweed:
Contains carbohydrates, amino acids, plant hormones, micronutrients and proteins.

Microorganism package:
The added natural soil microorganisms, include several common bacteria and fungal species that have critical functions in maintaining optimum soil health. The blended consortia of specific microbes each play individual roles in the establishment of a healthy soil microflora. Bacteria, such as the included Bacillus spp. can enhance plant growth, by both plant stimulation and soil nutrient solubilisation, as well as promoting soil organic matter decomposition and aggregation for a healthy soil. Pseudomonas, another bacteria species, joins the bacillus in out-competing pathogenic microbial organisms.

Carbon:
About 50% of a plant is made up of carbon, mostly synthesised from CO2 during photosynthesis. Carbon is the basis for all building blocks of life and essential for healthy soils.

Amino acids:
Amino acids are the building blocks for plant proteins. The plant will combine amino acids to form peptide chains and later complex proteins. All the processes in the plant like tissue development, growth, recovery from injury and self-defence require proteins. The turf plant can synthesise all the needed amino acids from the mineral nutrients it takes in. But the plant can absorb amino acids through the roots as well, saving the energy to produce them itself, especially in times of plant stress. Over time, microorganisms in the rootzone will break down amino acids into their components, making nutrients readily plant available.
