TourTurf® MPL MagPlex Booster Liquid + LPT Leaf Penetrant Technology is a liquid N-fertiliser with magnesium and carbohydrates for the treatment of magnesium deficiency on turf. The formulation encourages rapid uptake via turf leaves and roots. Also contains aromatic plant extracts for enhanced turf resiliency. Use TourTurf® MPL to get great colour without the extensive use of iron, to replenish magnesium in stadiums using artificial light year round and to correct any deficiencies.

Magnesium is a macronutrient involved in many physiological plant processes, including phosphorus translocation, enzyme activity and as the central atom of the chlorophyll molecule.

Magnesium is important for maintaining the green colour and growth of turf. Use this product as an alternative to iron products, since magnesium is gentler on plants and the environment.

The deficiency symptoms appear as a cherry red discolouration on the edges of the leaves or yellow dropping leaves. It usually appears first on the older lower leaves before it spreads. When the symptoms start, the growth is slowed down.

The balance between calcium and magnesium is very important for the plant’s uptake of both magnesium and calcium and other nutrients.
