TourTurf® MTB Mycorrhizae, Trichoderma and Bacteria Pack
TourTurf® MTB is a fully water-soluble powder which contains a unique combination of three types of microbial species, selected for improving the plant’s rhizosphere. The symbiosis of microbes and the soil biology produces a range of regenerative effects to the soil and its plants, ensuring increased soil structural strength and plant robustness.
The microorganisms in TourTurf® MTB produce enzymes capable of degrading cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin, as well as compounds that stimulate plants and additional soil microfauna. This results in a wide range of benefits to both soil and plant. It improves the living conditions for beneficial microbes. It can out-compete pathogenic fungal species for space and nutrients. TourTurf® MTB increases availability of nutrients in the rhizosphere by stimulating the root exudate production. By increasing glomalin in the soil, the soil structure can be improved.
TourTurf® MTB stimulates plant root growth and soil contact, facilitating increased nutrient uptake into the roots. The antioxidant production in plant cells can be enhanced. The product induces a greater abiotic stress resistance, in particular when under salinity- and water stress. The formulation is a fully water-soluble powder, with natural minerals, compounds and sugars that provide the optimum habitat to promote and feed the microbial content. TourTurf® MTB can be applied to all types of turf rootzones.

Turf Resiliency: When applying the product pour it into hand warm water (30-40°C.) first and stir to dissolve. Then pour the mixture into the spray tank and keep stirring. |

Mycorrhizae:
Mycorrhizal fungi live on, around or within plant roots in a symbiotic relationship.The application of the VAM (Vesicular Arbuscular Endomycorrhiza) type of mycorrhiza to turf is most successfully used during establishment of new greens or during the aerification process to inoculate the target rootzone with new beneficial mycorrhiza. Including mycorrhiza in turfgrass management will result in the following benefits:
- Higher grass root growth rates
- Increased ability for the turf plant to absorb water
- Improved soil nutrient availability to the grass plant
- Greater nutrient uptake and use efficiency within plant
- Improved porosity and drainage of soil

Microorganism package:
The added natural soil microorganisms, include several common bacteria and fungal species that have critical functions in maintaining optimum soil health. The blended consortia of specific microbes each play individual roles in the establishment of a healthy soil microflora.
Bacteria, such as the included Bacillus spp. can enhance plant growth, by both plant stimulation and soil nutrient solubilisation, as well as promoting soil organic matter decomposition and aggregation for a healthy soil. Pseudomonas, another bacteria species, joins the bacillus in out-competing pathogenic microbial organisms.
