TourTurf® Algae Plus Seaweed is a concentrated, plant-based, 100% organic, liquid Ascophyllum nodosum extract. The high amount of carbohydrates boosts the beneficial soil microbes, activating the soil. Seaweed it is a natural source of nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus, all of which are essential for plant growth and health. It contains cytokinins, auxins, and gibberellins, responsible for cell division, elongation, and differentiation. TourTurf® APS improves the quality of turf by increasing shoot and root growth, enhancing photosynthesis, and reducing plant stress.

This product is manufactured using a low temperature chemical-free extraction process from the slow growing, brown Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed plant, after it has been sustainably harvested from sheltered, rocky shores and pristine waters in Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany in northwestern France.

TourTurf® APS has two functions; firstly, as a biofertiliser due to the wide range of plant nutrient content and secondly; as a highly effective, natural soil improver for healthier plants and sports turf.

Our independent analysis of our Ascophyllum nodosum material reveals that it contains a wide range of nutrients, minerals and vitamins, together with carbohydrates comprising many types of sugars, fulvic acids, plant hormones and other active components. Although often required in small amounts, seaweed contains many elements often missing in otherwise productive growing conditions.
