TourTurf® BAP Bacteria Activo Plus 3-0-4 + 1% Fe
TourTurf® BAP Bacteria Activo Plus is a 100% organic, plant based, liquid NK-fertiliser approved for the use in organic farming with a unique high content of micronutrients, calcium, magnesium and sulphur for foliar and soil applications. Use TourTurf® BAP to improve seed establishment, rooting and during times of plant stress and disease pressure (e.g. Dollar spot).
The fertiliser provides a range of essential macro- and micro-nutrients to ensure healthy plants. The product contains vinasse (circular content from bakers yeast production), low temperature extracted Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed extract, Quillaja extract, the TourTurf® microorganism package, a patented mixture of 18 plant based L-amino acids and molasses from organic sugarcane. The nutrients in the fertiliser are of natural origin and contribute to healthy soil conditions and even growth.
TourTurf® BAP has a high carbohydrate content that promotes a healthy bacterial culture in the soil and stimulates the microorganisms contained in the product. The beneficial microorganisms help to release nutrients in the soil, increasing the nutrient use efficiency (NUE) and counteracting and competing with harmful microorganisms (e.g. Dollar spot) found in the soil.
TourTurf® BAP combines 6 powerful components in a convenient, economical mix. It provides essential building blocks for healthy turf growth and stress relief. Microorganism strains are fully traceable via DNA fingerprint.

Product details
The product contains the basic building blocks for healthy growth for all types of turf.Biostimulant product uptake is both through the roots and leaves of the plants.
BAP is a dark coloured fertiliser product with a sweet natural scent.
AFBI Trial Results:
In extensive scientific greenhouse trials carried out at AFBI, the Agri-Food & Biosciences Institute in Belfast we have been able to show, how we can use the material to effectively to prevent stress on turfgrass plants.From the trial work at AFBI we know that it is possible to minimize the effect of abiotic stress by up to 60% compared to untreated plants.
Seaweed:

Microorganism package:
Bacillus subtilis:
Produces auxins (plant hormones), makes phosphorus easily available and secretes root protecting sugars.
Bacillus licheniformis:
Decomposes thatch, improves tolerance to plant stress, has disease inhibiting properties.
Bacillus amyloliquefaciens:
Increases resistance to diseases, protects against salt stress and improves drought tolerance.
Bacillus pumilus:
Helps the plants to prevent the developments of Rhizoctonia and Fusarium spores. Can solubilize potassium and phosphate. Chelates iron.
All four bacterial strains have the Qualified Presumption of Safety (QPS) status of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). Non-GMO material. Class 1 approved bacterial types.

Carbohydrates serve as an energy source for the soil microorganisms and increase microbial activity.
Carbon:
About 50% of a plant is made up of carbon, mostly synthesised from CO2 during photosynthesis. Carbon is the basis for all building blocks of life and essential for healthy soils.

Amino acids are the building blocks for plant proteins. The plant will combine amino acids to form peptide chains and later complex proteins. All the processes in the plant like tissue development, growth, recovery from injury and self-defence require proteins.The turf plant can synthesise all the needed amino acids from the mineral nutrients it takes in. But the plant can absorb amino acids through the roots as well, saving the energy to produce them itself, especially in times of plant stress.Over time, microorganisms in the rootzone will break down amino acids into their components, making nutrients readily plant available.
