TourTurf® FDC Foliar Defence Concept is a liquid N-fertiliser that prepares turf for the coming winter period by providing macro- and micronutrients in appropriate amounts, surfactants, amino acids, plant extracts and Triacontanol. Use TourTurf® FDC to make turf more resilient, help it harden for winter and reduce excess surface moisture. The combination gives the turf the best conditions for optimal overwintering and contributes to faster recovery from damage (Microdochium Patch) even during low temperatures.

We have tested TourTurf® FDC thoroughly at Oregon State University, and we can promise healthy turf with extra colour, strength and improved winter tolerance. The surfactants provide a good reduction in dew formation, keeping the leaves and the top of the grass plant dry during the autumn months. Triacontanol, derived from beeswax, supports turf growth and helps plants resist autumn and winter stress.

To strengthen the turf for the winter, we recommend a minimum of 4 monthly applications starting in August. Further 1-2 monthly applications are advised in the critical winter months, as climate change has led to milder winters. If snow is expected, an additional 40L per ha is applied before snow falls.

This product should not be applied in rainy weather. Clean the spray tank with TourTurf® APC All Purpose Tank Cleaner before and after using this product. Use in combination with TourTurf® STA and TourTurf® EPT for great benefits.
