TourTurf® PTC ProActive Turf Concept is a natural adjuvant and bio fertiliser made of plant extracts from Quillaja saponaria (Soapbark tree). The product is approved for organic farming.The natural wetting agent and fulvic acid ingredients in the product provide the best quality surfactant, increasing the efficiency of nutrient absorption both in foliar and soil applications. Together with the biostimulant properties, the product maximises turf quality, performance and turf health.

Fatty Acids:
Fatty acids are key building blocks of cell membranes, they benefit turf by enhancing its cell membrane structure and giving it structural stability.

Strong cells make turf more resistant to environmental stress like foot traffic or turf pathogens.

By improving the cell membrane structure, fatty acids can help turf retain more water, improving drought tolerance and reducing the need for frequent irrigation.Fatty acids can play a role in regulating physiological responses and help the plant to react to heat stress.

Healthy cell membranes are necessary for nutrient uptake, enabling turf to access water and nutrients more effectively.

Mode of action:
TourTurf® PTC ProActive Turf Concept contains both hydrophilic and hydrophobic components that remove surface tension of liquids, so previously insoluble compounds can mix. The Quillaja Saponaria extract has surfactant properties, forming ‘micelles’ that change the binding characteristics of the liquids in which they are mixed.The concentric formation of small micelles has an affinity that binds them to sterols, making it easier to enter cell walls. TourTurf® PTC can be used for soil and foliar application.
