TourTurf® Thatch-Less® MCB MolCarb is an organic plant-based liquid NK-fertiliser and a rich source of complex sugars, carbon, enzymes and micronutrients. TourTurf® Thatch-Less® MCB can be used as an energy source for the soil microorganisms to increase microbial activity. Complex sugars can substitute for missing photosynthesis compounds otherwise produced by the turf plants themselves. Especially valuable in closed stadiums, on shaded greens, on stressed turf and to increase microbial activity in the soil.

TourTurf® Thatch-Less® MCB is made of by-products from organic sugar cane. After simple sugars and salts are removed, complex sugars and micronutrients make up molasses, which is the perfect combination of carbohydrates for turf treatments. Limited sunlight, traffic, low cut and low fertility can limit the plants carbohydrate production.

Complex sugars are an essential food source for soil microorganisms. Under ideal conditions, the plant excretes a lot of plant sugars, encouraging a big population of beneficial naturally occurring indigenous soil microbes.

TourTurf® Thatch-Less® MCB is a good way to promote the microbial soil life and will synergistically enhance the effect of our microbial products like Thatch-Less® ETD and Thatch-Less® FTD. This makes the product a significant part of our thatch reduction programmes.
